This is a record of my physical, mental and emotional experiences dealing with the rare skin disease known as pityriasis lichenoides et varioliformis acuta (PLEVA). It is currently on-going.

My hands
PLEVA (or whatever I have) is not supposed to spread to the palms of your hands, or the soles of your feet. It's also not supposed to appear on your face, but mine did. I've had very small patches of dots on my ears, the corner of my eyes and a few around my eye sockets. So far my hands have faired pretty well.
So far my hands are okay with only a few bumps appearing.
One bump has invaded the meat of my left hand, but thankfully my palms are still clean.
