The bumps started spreading up and down my body. The pain from the spots on my torso began to fade but started to itch like crazy. New bumps appeared everywhere all at once. Some of them started bleeding internally while the others remained red and sore. The skin on the tops of my older bumps began to turn brown and flakey.
At my second doctor's visit I was uncomfortable. I itched constantly. It hurt to walk. My skin felt sunburned. I asked my doctor if he had seen many cases of PR. He said he had, but that he "Had never seen a case as severe as yours." Great… He referred me to a dermatologist and sent me for blood work.
